4WARD is building the bridge between sustainability education and careers. We empower climate-focused professionals and connect them with organizations driving environmental innovation.

As an Online Events Marketing & Ops Volunteer, you will help plan, set up, promote and grow our online events and expert talks, drive engagement with community, create marketing and engagement material, coordinate with panellists and guests and manage event process from start to finish.

Volunteer Goals 💪

• Plan and execute comprehensive event strategies from conception to post-event follow-up

• Create compelling marketing materials including social media content, email campaigns, and promotional graphics

• Coordinate with expert speakers, panellists and special guests to ensure seamless event delivery

• Develop and implement promotional campaigns to maximize event attendance and community engagement

• Manage event logistics including registration systems, technical setup, and day-of coordination

• Create engaging pre-event, live, and post-event content to drive ongoing community participation

• Analyze event performance metrics and optimize future events based on data insights

• Build strategic partnerships with other organizations to cross-promote events and expand reach
  

Helpful Skills & Experience 🌟

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience with event planning, digital marketing, or community engagement

• Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and event management software

• Creative mindset with ability to develop engaging marketing content and campaigns

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple event components

• Experience with virtual event platforms and online community management tools is a plus
