Your work will align with Ramboll’s Project Excellence Lifecycle (our Project Management system). Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of an exciting team of experts, who respect each other and work towards a common goal.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:<ul><li>Acting as the primary link between the contractor’s team on site and the Ramboll design office while ensuring the designers obligations are being fulfilled during the construction phase of the project</li><li>Carrying out the duties of the Designers Site Representative including but not limited to; Witnessing construction operations, inspecting the works, raising &amp; closing out Non-Conformancies, managing the Technical Query process and Material Approval Forms with the design office.</li><li>Management of the designers site team of engineers, specialists and inspectors on larger projects</li><li>Managing the RFI process</li><li>Ensuring all project deliverables are met within the contracted timeframes</li><li>Liaising between internal and external stakeholders to align project goals</li><li>Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines</li><li>Reporting project progress to the Project Manager and senior management team</li><li>Troubleshooting issuing and resolving them promptly to avoid project delays</li></ul>Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:Minimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering or related discipline<ul><li>Preferably a chartered member of an appropriate construction focused association or institute (e.g. ICE/IEI)</li><li>Experience in a DSR role on civil infrastructure projects, preferably within a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy</li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects</li><li>Knowledge of National Infrastructure Programmes such as National Highway’s Project Control Framework and delivery of schemes within their Regional Investment Programme</li><li>Knowledge of construction and the design processes</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations</li><li>An understanding of various types of procurement methods and contract administration requirements including NEC3 and NEC4</li></ul>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:Self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative. Excellent communicator who is highly organized and able to prioritize.
