As well as for the delivery of the automation system for the high voltage scopes of work for our utility scale PV Solar, BESS, and Wind projects. This position works within multi-disciplinary teams to assist in the development of efficient and reliable collection, ,substation and transmission line designs. The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Solid understanding of substation and transmission line project scopes of work and deliverables.</li><li>Capable of producing control building layouts, substation general arrangement, cable and conduit plans, line arrangement, grounding plan, sections, details, auxiliary AC/DC power distribution diagrams, bill of material, cable schedule, etc.</li><li>Acts as a key contributor to the development of substation physical application documents for air-insulated substations (AIS) and gas insulated substations (GIS), to define design scope, philosophies, methodologies, and criteria for medium and high-voltage substation projects.</li><li>Review of design basis memorandums, detailed engineering scopes, and then guide contractor discipline engineers/designers to align with Repsol engineering deliverables according to project requirements.</li><li>Provide electrical, high-voltage, collection system, and substation support to operating renewable projects.</li><li>Participate in the engineering, design, and construction review processes including review of the collection system, substation, and transmission line designs.</li><li>Oversee internal and external electrical discipline calculations, studies, and designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
