In TECH we are building software systems in two main areas:

  • Heartbeat: Building a virtual power plant leveraging our energy manager "Heartbeat" and evolving the customer experience app around this.

  • Operating System for installation companies: Digitalisation of operations and processes from ground operations to rooftop installations.

As Product Manager for Data & Analytics Platform, you will partner with the Head of Engineering to drive strategic direction and execution of our Data & Analytics Platform initiatives. Together with our team of engineers, you will enable seamless data access, integration and analysis whilst improving the quality and speed of business decisions made throughout the whole organisation.
You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge technical infrastructure and diverse business needs, ensuring that everyone at 1KOMMA5° has intuitive and reliable access to all data & insights relevant for intelligent decision making.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Product Leadership: Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Data & Analytics Platform, aligning with company objectives and stakeholder needs

  • Results Accountability: Take full ownership of product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria for platform adoption and demonstrate that platforms investments lead to concrete organisational wins

  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate and align diverse stakeholders, from technical and non-technical end-users, to C-level executives, understanding diverse data needs and transforming competing priorities into a cohesive product direction

  • Internal Product Evangelism: Passionately communicate compelling stories around complex platform capabilities that inspire adoption and demonstrate clear business impact

Technologies your team will work with include:

  • Google Cloud Platform (CloudRun, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataform, etc.)

  • SQLMesh, Terraform / Terramate

  • GitHub Actions, Python and SQL

  • Looker, Dataform

  • Data pipeline and transformation tools

Your profile

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in product management or project management role, preferably (ideally within a fast-paced tech company or data-focused environment)

  • German language proficiency - excellent spoken and written German to confidently engage and influence stakeholders across all organisational levels (Native speaker, or CEFR level C1+)

  • Technical Communication: Ability to transform complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with any audience

  • Cross-Level Influence: Excel at building bridges and driving alignment across diverse stakeholders, from hands-on users to executive decision-makers

  • Self-Initiative & Independence: Naturally entrepreneurial with the drive to identify opportunities, and push initiatives to completion without supervision

  • Technical Curiosity: Curiosity to learn data concepts including data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and business intelligence

Bonus points for:

  • Background in analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence

  • Technical background or understanding of software engineering practices

  • Prior experience in a scale-up environment at a company of similar size (100-1000 employees)

  • Interest in the climate tech industry and renewable energy sector
