The opportunity

We are looking for a Devops Engineer to drive innovation and solution development in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure. 

Our tech stack and tools include: .NET Core, .NET 8.0, React JS, TypeScript, REST API, ORMs (Entity Framework Core), SLQ (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), Git, Azure AD, Azure DevOps, Powershell, Linux, Bash, Python, Kafka, RabbitMQ Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, and Prometheus.

How you’ll make an impact   

• Maintain and develop continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for containerized (micro-services) solutions to achieve reliable and stable releases

• Maintain and configure tools within project's tech stack (Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and other ones)

• Troubleshoot issues for various Microsoft Azure cloud-based systems and improve the tool chain as well as associated processes towards more automation and shorter turnaround times

• Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology

• Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members

Your Background 

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equivalent field of study

• You have practical knowledge of software configuration management (Azure DevOps/TFS, GIT, Powershell, NuGet, code review tools, static analysis tools, installer/packagers, provisioning tools, virtualization/cloud-based build and testing systems)

• You have practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or another cloud provider

• You have a good knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems and technologies, as well as system administration

• Scripting/programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) will be a plus

• Good written and spoken communication in English
