Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h2>Who we are looking for</h2><p>Re:Build Oribi is seeking a hands-on, experienced Quality Manager to lead the setup and implementation of MAQMSR (Minimum Automotive Quality Management System Requirements) for a newly established Tier 1 automotive division of our business in Commerce City. This role will own the full quality system for Oribi and is critical to developing a robust quality management system that meets OEM expectations, supports IATF 16949 certification compliance, and ensures long-term customer satisfaction.</p><h2>What you will get to do</h2><ul><li><strong>Lead the implementation of IATF 16/MAQMSR</strong>, aligning systems, documentation, and practices with customer and OEM-specific requirements.</li><li><strong>Own and manage the entire quality management system (QMS)</strong> for the business, ensuring that every aspect—from supplier quality to final inspection—is aligned with customer expectations, internal standards, and compliance requirements.</li><li><strong>Lead the preparation, submission, and completion of</strong> <strong>PPAP</strong> in coordination with customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.</li><li>Train, mentor, and support team members on MAQMSR requirements, core tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and quality standard methodologies.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison for customer quality audits, third-party assessments, and internal audit processes.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure product and process to support and coordinate launch readiness and program quality planning for new products.</li><li>Lead problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., A3, 5-Why, Fishbone) and drive continuous improvement.</li></ul><h2>What you bring to the team</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality, preferably at a Tier 1 supplier.</li><li>Deep understanding of IATF 16/MAQMSR requirements and implementation strategies.</li><li>Familiarity with core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and customer-specific requirements.</li><li>Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and internal/external auditing processes.</li><li>Familiarity or experience with composites, preferably thermoplastics is a plus.</li><li>Proven ability to lead quality initiatives from the ground up in a new or rapidly scaling environment.</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, hands-on approach.</li><li>Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Lead Auditor, or similar credentials are a plus.</li></ul><h1>Salary</h1><p>$100,000-$150,000 depending on experience</p><h2><strong>The BIG payoff</strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><h2><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></h2><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
