<ul><li>Management &amp; analysis Inventory module</li><li>Monthly Comparisons and Variance comments consolidation of inventory changes – including awareness of standard rates, freight comparison etc</li><li>Preparation of monthly reconciliations (Inventory to GL accounts) – including preparation of Blackline supporting files</li><li>Accounting for Inventory Counts/Slag Survey</li><li>Updating standard cost/resource cost/formula &amp; recipe</li><li>Inventory Obsolescence Review</li><li>Sending weekly update files to site</li><li>Closing of inventory books including pre-closure checks &amp; roll over to next accounting period</li><li>Audit support of entire inventory module</li><li>Communicating &amp; coordinating with sites &amp; business on a regular basis.</li><li>Respond to information requests from sites, business &amp; auditors</li><li>Meet processing and reporting deadlines.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP.</li><li>Provide support to operations as needed.</li><li>Report to the Manager of Accounting and work to improve inventory processes.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.</li><li>Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.</li><li>Should have relevant experience in Inventory module.</li><li>Should have performed Balance sheet reconciliations (preferably on Blackline tool)</li><li>Should have exposure on month end closing and should be capable enough in taking decision</li></ul>
