It is our ambition to ensure business continuity for Platforms & Applications services in Project Management area. We deliver services in alignment with customers' needs, with honesty and transparency and work to achieve Platforms & Applications landscape simplification & standardization jointly with the Business. We are looking for you as a new member of our dynamic and international team!

The core responsibility of an Application Manager is management of run and small scale build aspects of the applications in Project Management Domain portfolio, focusing on gathering and delivering business insights in project management area.

Your responsibilities
 

• Manage application from its initial planning, development through retirement (decommissioning).

• Monitor everyday operations of application development team and provide regular feedback.

• Work with business and IT teams and manage all project requirements.

• Manage, plan, schedule and control an application or platform build through different stages (including testing and deploying) and environments.

• Collaborate with architects, quality testers, application specialist to achieve quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure applications operations and continuity

• Consider and manage IT controls, regulatory and legal requirements while designing, delivering and running platforms, applications and services.

• Understand business processes supported by your applications

• Build and maintain relationship with your applications end users community, direct as well as represented by SPOCs

• Build your application roadmap based on utilized technology roadmap

• Ensures operational records and data are up to date and correct including licenses and contracts, alerting of any expiration dates

• Understand business case behind the application and its business use;

Your background
 

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience in the IT area.

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing global application/services or implementation projects;

• Azure DevOps experience is an advantage.

• Proven experience of working with IT service management concepts (ITIL).

• Ability to take ownership

• Good organization, time management, decision making and negotiation skills.

• Responsibility for end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline.

• Ability to promote a team environment with strong leadership skills, support the importance of team spirit, collaboration, and customer focus.

• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and technologies.

• Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
