Reimagine What’s Possible
Lead a multidisciplinary team of project control staff to ensure Projects/Turnaround costs and schedule are effectively managed through the various stages.
Ensure that all project controls activities are in accordance with project controls plan and project procedures including preparation of schedules, cost reports, cash flow and variance analysis.
Develop a project controls organization chart reflecting target workforce loading for Projects/Turnarounds.
Provide input to Turnaround Manager /Sr Project Engineer of risk levels for the Projects /Turnarounds.
Ensure that the Projects /Turnarounds are properly resourced with competent project controls staff.
Exercising management responsibility with respect to the appraisal in accordance with the competency assessment guideline, and training of competent project controls staff.
Initiate and monitor weekly schedule status reviews, analysis of schedule trends and formulation of recommended corrective action.
Initiate and supervise maintenance of current budget allocation at detailed estimate level and at re-cast summary level.
Responsible to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of enterprise management tools such as Primavera P6, MS project, PCMS, CCMS, DMS, etc. and contract management tools.
Lead and oversee assistance and guidance to the Sr. Project Engineer / Turnaround Manager in the proper Contract Management of the Customer Contract.
Develop and maintain accurate progress & earned value measurement systems for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning to ensure credible control throughout the life cycle of Turnaround/Projects.
Develop and manage cost controls systems and procedures to enable accurate monthly and quarterly cost forecasts, including change management and cost trending reports to ensure we demonstrate robust cost control.
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per management directives having all relevant details of status, forecast, risks along with mitigations, areas of concerns, needs & issues, along with other department deliverables like EH&S, QA/QC, Supply chains etc.
Develop estimates, funding documents, schedules & workforce requirements necessary to execute all Turnarounds/Projects successfully.
Plan and schedule Turnaround /Project timelines and closely monitor actual progress so that Turnaround /Project schedule and deliverables are not negatively impacted.
Evaluate and assess Turnarounds/Projects progress & results, conduct “lessons learned” for future improvements.
