Who we are

In order to decarbonize the grid, utilities and grid operators need higher quality carbon data and analytics. To support the US grid’s decarbonization journey, Singularity Energy is building a data platform to support clean energy and carbon tracking, reporting, and planning. Today, grid carbon data is siloed, outdated, and lacks spatial and temporal granularity, and with new climate pledges and decarbonization plans being announced every day, there is a tremendous need to get the underlying data right. Singularity is proud to partner with organizations such as Southern Company, MISO, and Eversource Energy. We are a team of grid carbon experts, with industry recognized accolades, and we are hiring to support engineering our platform for the scale and needs of our utility and grid operator partners.

About the role

We’re looking for a full-stack, frontend leaning software engineer to help our team lead the energy revolution. You will be working with other engineers, data scientists and business leads to understand and build products with high customer value. You’ll help guide best practices in the engineering team while helping the company hit pivotal milestones.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a delivering high quality software

• Proven track record of delivering on a deadline

• Experience working on multiple parts of the stack (frontend, backend, databases, devops, machine learning, and/or data analysis)

• Excellent written and verbal communication
