Controller

Responsible for financial supporting to Plant Manager.
Responsible for review of the accounting / Financial ERP, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial information.
Responsible for the implementation of internal controls, adhering strictly to Corporate policies, accounting principles, local fiscal and legal requirements, as well as guidelines of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) law.
Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial statements to evaluate the results of the company.
Responsible for compliance with legal / fiscal and Corporate obligations.

• Analysis and interpretation of financial results, in order to evaluate the profitability of the operation of the company.

• Ensure, in conjunction with the Plant Manager, that the forecasts and budgets (operating profit, economic value added) are aligned with the strategic plans of the company, and take the necessary actions for their alignment.

• Supervision of the activities of the Finance Department. (Inventories, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Costs, Fixed Assets and Taxes)

• Ensure that all transactions and policies necessary for the monthly and annual closing process are correctly registered (Check list, Standardization and Poka-Yoke)

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financial information.

• Support, development and ensure compliance with information and reporting requirements to the corporate.

• Preparation of monthly forecasts (Forecast)

• Coordination and preparation of the annual Budget (Budget & LRP)

• Preparation and presentation of monthly results to the corporate. (Earnings calls).

• Promote and ensure compliance with legal / fiscal and corporate obligations.

• Promote and ensure compliance with corporate legal / fiscal obligations.

• Promote and issue proposals for continuous improvement and cost savings (Kaizen).

• Provide information to the Management team as support for decision making.

• Support and coordination in physical inventory taking activities.

• Quote of new products and elaboration of AR's

• Support in special projects of the company where support or financial analysis is required.

• Responsible for taking the necessary actions to preserve the health and safety of workers under their care and contractors.

• Incorporates into its work the tools and principles of standardization, 5S's, TPM, poka-yokes and continuous improvement. "Enlace y facilitador entre las actividades de la unidad de negocio y la planta.

• Comply with procedures, Work instructions and / or récords.
