Medior Data Scientist-Machine Learning Engineer

AECOM’s Is seeking a talented and driven Medior Data Scientist IIII to join our AI team. This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced solutions in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Deep Learning, with applications in video recognition but also time-series analysis. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and cloud platforms to build scalable, intelligent systems.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, including both remote and office work arrangements, from our office in Bucharest, RO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize ML models using Python and deep learning frameworks.

• Develop and fine-tune LLMs and advanced NLP algorithms for various language understanding tasks.

• Build and deploy video recognition and computer vision models using state-of-the-art techniques.

• Apply time-series algorithms for forecasting, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition.

• Optimize model performance and scalability for production environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services.

• Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
