Proactively engages development teams and Engineering Management to reduce and mitigate project risks and issues.</li><li>Provides leadership and direction to the engineering staff on the development according to the released Design Control Process</li><li>Mentors junior team members to include leadership approach, project management methodology, tools, and soft skills</li><li>Regular interaction with Product Management to clearly define and control project requirements and changes to the established baseline</li><li>Develops a strong understanding of the business case and requirements critical to the success of the project and product, to include occasional, direct interaction with customers/users</li><li>Ability to assess the health of a troubled project of any-size, and generate a recovery project plan, risk mitigation plan and actions to achieve the project objective</li><li>Excels in coordinating with the internal organization and company leadership to achieve development objectives and product manufacturing goals.</li><li>Contributes project management process improvement ideas and initiatives for continuous improvement</li><li>Assists with developing and reviewing project estimations for all projects, including resource allocation, priorities, schedules and forecasts.</li><li>Assists in the establishment of the department budget</li><li>Assists in proposal activities, including the internal maintenance of project scope estimates for all identified future projects.</li><li>Provides feedback into the Engineering processes so they are constantly improved</li></ul>Job Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline</li><li>10+ years project/program management experience, managing and leading highly skilled technical teams</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail</li><li>Exceptional communication and organizational skills at all levels in a company; robust interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork and collaboration</li><li>Experience in coordinating cross-disciplinary project teams in a matrix management environment</li><li> Drives deadlines in dynamic and fast moving environments</li><li> Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills at all organizational levels</li><li> Self-directed, has initiative and is a great multi-tasker</li><li>Must be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident status</li><li>Proven commitment to quality and continuous improvement</li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>Experience with Lean Development desirable.</li></ul>Other Qualification: <ul><li>Formal project management training or other similar training (e.g. MBA) </li></ul>  Salary Range: $141,900.00-$189,200.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
