Responsibilities:
Lead Cloud Data Strategy: Drive cloud data stewardship initiatives using advanced tools such as Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) to ensure seamless data and application integration across our cloud infrastructure.
Architect Cloud Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to design and implement a robust, scalable cloud-based data and knowledge infrastructure, enabling rapid deployment of AI-driven models for material, process, and product innovation.
Model Deployment: Lead the implementation of advanced data-driven and physics-based models to accelerate the development of sustainable materials, products, and mobility solutions.
Ensure Data Quality: Establish and manage data quality assurance processes using Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) tools to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and reliability.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for strategic data management projects, including the design and optimization of data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data migration strategies using platforms such as Informatica IICS and IDMC.
Prototype Development: Build and test prototypes to validate new concepts, and contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and components that support the adoption of emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate insights, strategies, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science, data engineering or related field
6+ year's experience with cloud platforms; specifically Azure
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Proficiency in Databricks, Data Lake architectures, and SQL
Strong background in data integration, data quality, and data governance
Experience with AI/ML model deployment and data science workflows
Proficient experience and in-depth knowledge of the following:
CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) and CDP (Cloud Data Profiling)
Infrastructure as code (IAC) and serverless technologies (Azure)
Other: SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Flask, Azure
