The Team:

We are currently seeking a passionate Data Engineer to work the cutting edge power & renewables forecasting engine.

Enverus and its subsidiary PRT have been a leader in load demand and renewable energy forecasting for the past thirty years.

Through our continued growth, we have maintained a one-team culture, with even our most junior members having code running in production within their first few weeks. Performance Objectives:

Develop and maintain data pipelines and sourcing from diverse providers.
Design and maintain data sourcing pipelines from multiple providers
Build and support complex computing algorithms and infrastructures
Monitor and enhance systems to support massive data streaming and ingestion

Competitive Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field
4+ years of experience working with data rich applications and pipelines
Experience with complex domains like power systems or financial trading
Success in delivering scalable, high-performance software
Proficiency in Python backend development
Familiarity with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes on GCP or AWS
