Our location in Denver NC has an opening for a Machine Operator on 2nd shift.

Position Summary

Prepare, straighten and braze cores for the welding department using parts listed on the BOM or assembly drawings.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn & understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objective and how they are related to this position

  • Learn and understand quality management system documents, work instructions, forms, & production work orders.

  • Perform work per written & verbal instructions

  • Complete necessary documentation to include required data with signature or initials

  • Perform quality inspections on core assembly before loading into braze furnace.

  • Load baskets and enter recipe for furnace.

  • Unload baskets, straighten per specification

  • Enter SAP confirmation and send it to the weld prep workstation.

  • Perform Datapaq tests as required.

Skills and Attributes

  • Very High Skill set ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Communicate in English through both verbal and written means to exchange accurate information and understand the information.

  • Perform basic problem-solving tasks which include identifying the problem & communicating verbally & in writing what the problem is, and the events prior to the problem.

  • Be a team player who is dependable, corporative, adaptive, & engaging.

  • Perform basic math to include counting, simple arithmetic with whole numbers or decimals, interpreting simple numerical information such as ranges & understanding of basic units of measure including the metric system.

  • Frequently move parts weighing up to 25 pounds between locations ranging from floor level to a height of 4.5 feet.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED. Preferred 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
