They are complex projects that need brilliant people to bring them to life and keep them running smoothly.Responsibilities / TasksAs an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing operational HSE support and ensuring the effective implementation of GEA UK's established Q&amp;HSE management systems. The role is based at our Eastleigh facility; however, travel to other UK facilities may be required from time to time.<ul><li>Primarily responsible for HSE operational support of the Eastleigh facility and associated pharma activities, including Project and Service activities, to include new starter inductions and facility risk assessments</li><li>Effectively communicate and implement established Q&amp;HSE Procedures within the defined business areas of the organisation.</li><li>Provide and deliver effective HSE training and support to the pharma teams.</li><li>Monitor the effectiveness of the management systems, via internal audits and inspections and provide regular reports and continual improvement plans accordingly.</li><li>Support third party audit schedules relating to health, safety, environmental and energy requirements</li><li>Conduct incident and near miss investigations to establish causations and preventative control measures.</li><li>Develop and improve standard incident reduction programs</li><li>Maintain defined and agreed internal audit schedules and provide reports</li><li>Provide HSE support to production, stores, office teams, as well as the projects and service teams</li><li>Participate in Country Q&amp;HSE Meetings</li><li>Ensure effective communications and consultation with all Employees relating to Q&amp;HSE are maintained</li><li>Assisting the review and updates of the business Risk Assessment Procedures and Safe Systems of Work</li><li>Support the current Q&amp;HSE Team Objectives, Targets, and Initiatives</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>HSE experience (essential)</li><li>NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health and safety Management (essential)</li><li>Construction or Engineering Experience (preferred)</li><li>Sound knowledge and practical experience of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation</li><li>Experience in performing HSE inspections and audits</li><li>Industry best practice, ISO and British Standards, preferably within the Integrated Facilities Management sector.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office</li><li>Planning and Organisation skills</li><li>Information technology skills</li><li>Being assertive, professional, friendly and approachable.</li><li>Self-motivating with the ability to plan and schedule tasks</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
