About the Job

The Landbanking Group (TLG) has been initiated as a moonshot project to revolutionise the way land is being valued and used by land stewards at a moment where ecosystem services are critical prerequisites for equitable, resilient and climate compatible prosperity and peace.

TLG is committed to the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement and the biodiversity targets of the High Ambition Coalition. It is a private, social-benefit company that brings together leading scientists, company builders, technology experts and investors.

Our mission is to completely transform the way we use land in these unprecedented times of accelerating climate change, mass extinction and social divide.

We are developing a cutting-edge, customer-facing ecological monitoring platform that integrates in-situ data, remote sensing, biophysical modeling, and AI. To ensure the scientific integrity and reliability of our outputs, we are seeking a Science QA Engineer to join our team.

We are hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team at The Landbanking Group to support the Landler platform – the world’s first wealth management platform for nature. The ideal candidate will have extensive QA experience with SaaS platforms, a strong background in dashboard and data visualization testing, and familiarity with nature-based or environmental data sets.

This role will be central to ensuring platform stability and delivering high-quality, verified releases across customer journeys. You’ll work closely with our product, data science, and engineering teams to design and execute comprehensive test plans across the full product lifecycle – from internal builds to customer-facing releases.

    • Simulate real customer experiences across different use cases, land types, and reporting journeys

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with developers and data scientists to isolate and debug issues

    • Participate in release planning, sprint retrospectives, and QA checkpoints for customer deployments

  • Automation & Tools

    • Where appropriate, build automated test scripts for regression and functional testing

    • Maintain QA tooling infrastructure and test environments

  • Release Management

    • Coordinate with Product and Customer Success to validate all customer-facing releases

    • Ensure robust sign-off and documentation of testing outcomes prior to deployment

  • Minimum 5 years in QA roles for SaaS platforms, with a proven record of managing QA in production environments

  • Strong understanding of data dashboards, data visualization libraries, and reporting tools

  • Familiarity with ecological, agronomic, or nature-based data sets (e.g., biodiversity, soil, water, climate)

  • Proficiency with QA and testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or similar

  • Experience with SQL, APIs, and backend data validation

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with product, science, and engineering teams

  • Degree or demonstrable experience in a scientific, environmental, or ecological field is preferred
