Responsibilities:
Creation, optimization, and maintenance of CNC machining programs with the TopSolid CAM system
Definition and application of efficient manufacturing strategies based on 3D CAD data
Selection of suitable tools, cutting data, and clamping devices, taking into account costs, service life, and machining quality
Use and maintenance of tool data in the TDM system for consistent use in CAM, simulation, tool presetting, and manufacturing
Collaboration in the standardization of machining strategies, templates, and program structures
Documentation and continuous improvement of programming standards as well as active participation in digitization projects in the manufacturing environment
Coordination and close cooperation with design, work preparation, manufacturing, quality assurance, and tool presetting
Ordering and designing clamping devices in cooperation with the equipment design department
Supporting the introduction of new tools, machines, and machining technologies
Training and supporting manufacturing employees with program changes and technological questions
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., machining mechanic, industrial mechanic)
Further training as a technician or several years of experience in CNC/CAM programming
Very good knowledge of 3/5-axis machining in the areas of milling, turning, and ideally complete machining
In-depth experience with CAM systems – preferably TopSolid
Experience with tool data management systems, ERP systems (e.g., TDM Systems, TopSolid, SAP) desirable
Ability to interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and tolerance specifications
Confident use of 3D CAD systems and experience in handling CAD data (e.g., model checking, collision detection, design changes)
Structured, independent way of working, ability to work in a team, and sense of responsibility
Willingness to work in a 2-shift operation
