Job Description
Job Summary:
Teledyne-Geospatial is a global leader in designing and producing geospatial software for the maritime market and the lidar survey industry. We are developing the next generation of Geospatial, Lidar, Sonar, and IoT software products with a talented team engaged in creating cutting-edge technology.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to join our cloud product team in Fredericton, NB, to create innovative products using the latest technology. Our focus is on collecting and managing geospatial information and providing analytics for various sensors and IoT systems. Our products cover a wide range of domains, from surveying to environmental monitoring. We are looking for a full stack developer to work on developing cloud and desktop applications that include technologies such as JavaScript, Java, C++, Postgres, AWS services.

What You Will Do :
Design and implement mid-tier business layers specific to client applications logic.
Contribute to designs and general improvements of the application architecture.
Build end-to-end features using RESTful APIs.
Design and build IoT data ingestion pipelines.
Build data visualization workflows and applications.
Implement backend microservices.
Work with the DevOps team on the CI/CD pipeline and push builds to staging environments.
Automate unit and system testing.
Work as part of a team following an agile methodology.
What You Need :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
3+ years of relevant experience as a backend, full stack, front-end or cloud developer
Proficiency in Java or C++.
Experience with JavaScript, React or Angular frameworks.
Knowledge of Python and Cloud technology.
Experience with systems using web services (REST, JSON)
Fluency in English
