Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.  Detailed Description: may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Manage current and past financial data and performance</li><li>Oversee reports and projections based on the analysis</li><li>Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation</li><li>Establish and evaluate profit plans</li><li>Manage identified trends in financial performance and provide final recommendations for improvement</li><li>Provides financial models and forecasts</li><li>Project management</li><li>Identify, develop and propagate the use of “best practices” regarding financial processes</li><li>Strategic business partner for the organization</li><li>Government Contract Accounting</li></ul> Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 5-10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Preferred Skills/Experience:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of<ul><li>MS Office Suite Applications (Excel focused)</li><li>Accounting Software (Deltek Costpoint preferred)</li><li>Planning and Analytics Applications (IBM Planning and Analytics – TM1 a plus)</li></ul><div></div>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
