About the Job

Resource Innovations is seeking a Software Project Manager to join our growing Customer Engagement team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in agile processes, technical project management, and/or E-Commerce to join our dynamic team, which designs and delivers customer engagement platforms and services on behalf of utilities and energy organizations.

As a Software Project Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of our Customer Engagement practice, conducting project intake, providing guidance to developers and programmers, leading quality assurance reviews, and collaborating on planning efforts with senior management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees project planning and day-to-day execution of the development team.

  • Leads development project coordination using agile processes, e.g., facilitates regular management, development, and account standups, hosts the weekly sprint planning process, and reviews and manages incoming development and maintenance requests. 

  • Translates build specifications requirements into actionable tasks in Asana and assigns them to the development team.

  • Participates in the pipeline planning to review and update timelines across all active projects.

  • Creates new projects using Asana templates and links them to the development master calendar.

  • Performs final site QA checks pre- and post-launch and supports QA and maintenance-related content edits in collaboration with Frontend Developers.

  • Coordinates product updates, including descriptions and imagery, particularly for retail store content.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+years of experience in project management, with expertise in E-Commerce, energy, or software a plus. 

  • Fluent in using Asana, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams to communicate with teams comprising multiple stakeholders to advance projects. 

  • Experience developing or sourcing written content to support E-Commerce product description pages.   

  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education, and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in management, marketing, computer science, or a related field. 

  • Experience as a project manager within a technical or software engineering team. 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience leading quality assurance reviews. 

  • Expertise in agile processes, a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $65,000 - $100,000.  In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.  Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location. 

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits. 

Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.
