Gain real-world internship experience with a highly successful designer/manufacturer of computer-controlled fruit sorting technology exported globally.
We are looking for 2 passionate and driven Engineering students specialising in Mechanical or Mechatronics to assist our Engineering teams with Product Development projects. These internships will be paid and run November - February across a 10-week period. Here's a sneak peek into what you will be doing:
Concept generation and analysis
Construction of proof-of-concept prototypes (mechanical, electronic and software-based)
Conducting tests on prototypes including data analysis and report writing
Generation of 3D mechanical designs, manufacturing drawings and work instructions
Conducting Risk Assessments
Materials evaluation and testing
Implementing design changes
Updating documentation
We accept applications from students in all years of study, however preference will be given to those students in their penultimate year.
