BorgWarner is currently looking for a “dynamic, results-driven” individual to join as Validation Engineer to the Power Drive Systems Daegu Technical Center (PDS DTC).

The Validation Engineer will plan and develop product testing and validation requirements for products in development. Coordination and provision of validation test facilities in accordance with product development requirements. Analyze and interpret validation test results to ensure they meet the department's cost and quality goals. Develop and promote new technology and processes. Maintain and support daily quality activities to ensure ISO 17025 compliance.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meets departmental Cost and Quality objectives

• Maintain and support day-to-day quality activities to ensure compliance with ISO 17025

• Evaluate new service providers and coordinate required validation test

• Develop and promote new technology and processes

• Evaluate validation test equipment requirement and manage maintenance plan

• Verify and analyze validation test results

Role of Validation Engineer

• Plan and develop product test and validation requirements for products under development

• Develop and verify validation test plan and perform test for required products

• Coordinate and provide validation test facilities per product development requirement

Role of Test Development Engineer

• Performs product hardware validation/reliability testing.

• Design and develop test software and hardware for product validation.

• Review test requirements with project team members and customers.

• Handles hardware/EMC validation test plans execution and results documentation.

• Work with external test vendors on hardware test setups and test development issues.

• Compile and analysis of test data for reporting of failure to Design Team.

• Experience with Labview, TestStand and CVI(added advantage)

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum an Engineering Degree with 3 year of experience
