The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning and reviewing maintenance work; perform a variety of responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance activities; as well as train, supervise and evaluate the work of employees.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Implement new equipment technologies for manufacturing and quality improvements including equipment upgrades, process technologies, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.   </li></ul><ul><li>Supervise and plan the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and process within the facility.   </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate product and process design and changes.    </li></ul><ul><li>Confer with management, production, and marketing/sales staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.    </li></ul><ul><li>Analyze technology, resources, needs, and market and customer demands, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.   </li></ul><ul><li>Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing rules, and assisting in decisions about the purchase of materials or services.   </li></ul><ul><li>Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings internally and externally.    </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in purchasing maintenance materials and outside technical services in accordance with established company protocol and procedures.   </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in the establishment and implementation of systematic preventative maintenance program with the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.   </li></ul><ul><li> Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns. Provide corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.   </li></ul><ul><li>Supervise PM and PD (preventive and predictive maintenance) plans with the use of automated software packages.   </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor parts requests to ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies are being met according to departmental budget.    </li></ul><ul><li>Lead CI (continuous improvement) tasks reporting back to management with status updates.   </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure equipment and processes are running optimally at all times.   </li></ul><ul><li>Provide technical support to our production team and perform other tasks as needed.   </li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate selection of appropriate resources (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to minimize costs and assure on time and on budget completion.    </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure, enforce, and adhere to all legislative requirements.    </li></ul><ul><li>Constantly enhance the motivation and team-spirit of all operation staff.   </li></ul><ul><li>Minimize the risk of accidents and pollution.</li></ul>
