<ul><li>Implement and oversee the Safety Management Plan, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including client's project safety standards and programmes.</li><li>Collaborate with the Client's Corporate QHSE Manager/Officer and JV company representatives on reporting, audits, and site visits.</li><li>Proactively demonstrate and promote the correct safety culture across the project site.</li><li>Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Risk Assessments (JSRA) submitted by contractors.</li><li>Coordinate and conduct health and safety audits, including those performed by the Contractor's WSHOs and WSHCs, to ensure compliance with Client requirements and the Safety Management Plan.</li><li>Maintain accurate health and safety records, including safety statistics, lead and lag indicators, and ensure correct reporting of data.</li><li>Develop and deliver basic health, safety, and environment (HSE) training to project team members and workers.</li><li>Lead investigations into incidents and near misses using the ICAM Incident Investigation Process, ensuring proper reporting and closure.</li><li>Log all safety incidents and near misses into IndustrySafe and notify the AECOM SHE Manager as required.</li><li>Monitor and submit weekly and monthly Safety Joint Inspection reports, incorporating observations from AECOM-appointed sites and field-based staff.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory standards and safety requirements are enforced at the Project Site.</li><li>Be available for work rotation, including extended working hours, Sundays, and public holidays as required.</li></ul>
