The internship provides a unique, hands-on experience, allowing you to contribute to groundbreaking projects in the nuclear energy sector through high-performance computing and experimental investigative methods. General Responsibilities<ul><li>Learn and use building codes and design codes, performing hand calculations and using commercially available finite element analysis software such as ANSYS</li><li>Create engineering design calculation packages that considers factors like static, dynamic, blast, vibration, and thermal stresses. Evaluate the durability of structural components for low and high cycle fatigue</li><li>Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software</li><li>Prepare reports and presentations on design and analysis work.
