For more information, visit our website at <a href="http://www.revamp-eng.com">www.revamp-eng.com</a>.Duties &amp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform system studies including but not limited to protective device coordination and the following explorations: short circuit, arc flash, load flows, ampacity, grounding, harmonic, and power quality.</li><li>Design collection systems, including cable routing and cable sizing.</li><li>Create equipment specifications for and apply knowledge of renewable energy systems including PV solar modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transformers, cable management systems, and balance-of-system (BOS).</li><li>Write reports and make presentations describing studies performed, solutions developed, and value obtained.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.</li><li>Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.</li><li>Coordinate with clients and project managers on their expectations.</li><li>Work under the guidance of more senior staff. </li><li>Work on or lead small projects or portions of larger projects in preparation of drawings and engineering documentation.</li><li>Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.</li><li>Collaboratively use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments. </li><li>Receives direction on unconventional and/or complex problems, and possible solutions.</li><li>Receives a thorough review of completed work for application of sound professional judgment.</li><li>Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned or directed. </li></ul>Experience, Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical Engineering or similar. </li><li>EIT Certificate is desirable. </li><li>Professional experience in power systems analysis (including internships)</li><li>Knowledge of power systems analysis software tools such as ETAP, CDEGS, CYMCAP, PSS/E, PSLF, or similar is desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of power distribution, transmission, solar PV systems or energy storage systems is desirable.</li><li>Experience working with different vendor-provided dynamic models is preferred.</li><li>Experience applying Python or similar programming languages for process automation is desirable.</li><li>Ability to identify and solve complex problems.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to be both creative and analytical.</li><li>Detail-oriented and accurate.</li><li>Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.</li></ul>Benefits for Full-Time Positions:<ul><li>Competitive compensation with bonus.</li><li>Full benefits package including 99% employer-paid health, vision, life, and dental insurance.</li><li>Medical, dependent care, and commuter FSA.</li><li>Monthly health and wellness stipend.</li><li>Attractive vacation, sick, and holiday pay.</li><li>Paid parental leave.</li><li>401(k) savings plan with 100% match up to 6%, vested immediately.</li><li>Profit-sharing.</li><li>Paid volunteer time off and charitable donation matching.</li></ul>Disclaimera.)
