This role reports to our Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. As part of our Manufacturing Development &amp; Industrialization team, you will contribute to developing and implementing manufacturing processes, acquiring and commissioning equipment, and leading technical discussions in collaboration/partnership with design, supplier, and integrator teams. Relocation assistance is available.<h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team for pack assembly areas.</li><li>Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for battery module and pack assembly.</li><li>Spearhead the procurement, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, including developing detailed user requirement specifications (URS) and leading factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Collaborate with design engineering during the product development phase to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).</li><li>Lead technical discussions with internal design partners, external suppliers, and integrators.</li><li>Manage all manufacturing engineering phases of a product launch, from early-stage design reviews to line commissioning and production ramp-up.</li><li>Mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.</li><li>Utilize project management software like Jira to track project timelines, tasks, and deliverables.</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with 1-3 years of experience leading an engineering team.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in manufacturing equipment procurement, setup, and commissioning, including a clear understanding of equipment qualification and validation protocols.</li><li>Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.</li><li>Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in a high-volume production environment.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in a process engineering capacity, with a track record of developing and optimizing new manufacturing processes.</li><li>Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of a manufacturing project, from initial concept to full-scale production.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and experience with project management tools, with a preference for Jira.</li><li>A solid technical background with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with design teams in the early stages of product development.</li></ul>#LI-Onsite#LI-DL1Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
