Job DescriptionAs a member of the Brookfield Infrastructure Finance and Operations team, you will report to the Director, Finance and work alongside a strong team to build a ‘best in class’ finance function. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, treasury and financial reporting for our Brookfield Infrastructure Private Funds.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include participating in the entire fund operations and reporting process such as:<ul><li>Actively participate in the day-to-day fund operations, including but not limited to, managing liquidity, assisting on capital deployment of the fund, and assisting with investor queries.</li><li>Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis and actively participate in the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, including coordination with auditors, operating platforms, and various internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Preparation of quarterly distribution and capital call notices, including review of operations binders and working with external fund administrators.</li><li>Support Brookfield’s quarterly valuation process including in-depth review of models/long-term assumptions and the preparation of consolidated management presentations.</li><li>Prepare analysis as part of fundraising process for new private infrastructure funds.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the Funds annual tax filings.</li><li>Opportunity to work alongside corporate and global platforms on various reporting initiatives.</li><li>Ad-hoc analysis and presentations on platform financial and operational results, as well as supporting any special projects.</li></ul>Qualifications:This position offers an opportunity for growth within the BIG team and wider Brookfield Asset Management group.To qualify, candidates must have:<ul><li>University degree in Business or Finance</li><li>Working towards completion of recognized professional accounting designation (CPA).</li><li>One to two years of progressive work experience in finance and/or accounting functions, with an understanding and familiarity with private funds considered an asset.</li><li>Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, to adapt quickly, problem-solve and to manage changing priorities.</li><li>Strong communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization.</li><li>Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.</li></ul>This position would be suitable for those candidates who meet the position requirements and who thrive in a performance-driven environment that emphasizes employee leadership and accountability for delivering results.Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.  Accordingly, we do not tolerate workplace discrimination, violence or harassment.Brookfield is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
