As a key member of GFL’s Business Development team, the Account Manager will play a critical role in strengthening client relationships and expanding our market presence. This role is focused on driving new business—both from prospective and existing clients—while reinforcing our reputation as a leader in the industry. The primary focus will be on growing our customer base within our Vacuum Truck and Industrial Services divisions.  Job Duties:<ul><li>Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with both new and existing clients.</li><li>Assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions by leveraging a deep understanding of our full range of service offerings.</li><li>Consistently represent GFL in a professional and positive manner to strengthen brand reputation and visibility.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between clients and operations teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Gather and report on market intelligence, including competitor activity and pricing strategies.</li><li>Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed growth and development targets.</li><li>Willingness to travel as required (approximately 70% travel, 30% office-based).</li></ul>  Requirements:<ul><li>Proven business development experience in a competitive, fast-paced industry — or relevant technical experience on industrial sites, even outside of a direct sales role.</li><li>Background in the waste management or industrial services sector is an asset, particularly with large, complex sites requiring integrated service solutions.</li><li>A strong drive for business excellence, with outstanding follow-through and attention to detail.</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial services such as shutdowns and turnarounds is an asset but not required.</li></ul>  We thank you for your interest.
