This position is a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that are critical to achieving company goals for our current product line, while also working hand-in-hand with Engineering on our next generation of products. A successful candidate will be able to create visibility and highlight opportunities from the numbers, build strong relationships with technical leaders, and is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Become the BOM subject matter expert; analyzing changes and reporting variances</li><li>Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing clear and concise summaries of BOM costs and impacts</li><li>Lead strategic BOM initiatives. Partnering closely with Engineering, from DRE’s to the CTO, to understand financial tradeoffs for proposed design changes</li><li>Partner with Engineering leaders with budgeting, forecasting and compiling targets for both BOM and investment for future programs</li><li>Partner with the Technical Program Management team to understand changes in the BOM and analyze engineering change orders (ECO) by being on the Change Review Board (CRB)</li><li>Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to insure data integrity in the BOM is accurate</li><li>Continuously improve BOM management processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Ad hoc analysis as necessary to support leadership in the decision making process.
