In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (“RRSNA”) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.</p><p></p><p>RRSNA is seeking a technical intern with a focus in electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial, or construction management to join our dynamic team and support the company’s growing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the U.S.</p><p></p><p>If you are passionate about working in a global, inclusive, and collaborative team to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for RRSNA and the communities we serve, we want to hear from you.</p><p></p><p><b>This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026, in Downtown Houston.</b>    </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Perform basic product design modifications.</li><li>Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment.</li><li>Create 3-D models from 2-D drawings.</li><li>Generate and scan prints.</li><li>Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how engineers work together to deliver success.</li><li>Participating in the design process, creating drawings or prototypes, and contributing to the development of new products or technologies.</li><li>Performed assigned tasks for construction oversight at construction sites as assigned, under supervision.</li><li>Keeping accurate records of experiments, designs, and project-related information, and preparing reports or documentation as needed.</li><li>Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals, and identifying and addressing technical issues or challenges that arise during projects and proposing solutions.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa.</li><li>Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering (civil, electrical, or related), degree program.</li><li>Having a technical background in civil/construction/electrical/mechanical engineering will be positively evaluated.</li><li>Ability to be self-motivated and high attention to details.</li><li>Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity</li><li>Proficiency with MS applications</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and hard-working</li><li>Strong written and technical writing skills</li><li>Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as independently.</li><li>Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.</li><li>Be able to spend multiple weeks at the project sites.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Repsol is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p>
