Key to driving company success, they collaborate, innovate, and create efficient solutions for high-performance robotic applications. Position SummaryThe Senior Embedded Engineer drives hardware–firmware integration across multiple designs. This position guides early board bring-up, feature enablement, system integration, and test infrastructure development while collaborating closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure robust hardware performance. Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Lead firmware development for PCB bring-up, including power-on validation, peripheral testing, and interface bring-up.</li><li>Architect and implement low-level drivers, diagnostic tools, and early-stage test utilities for new hardware platforms.</li><li>Develop measurement, monitoring, and logging capabilities to assess hardware performance and reliability.</li><li>Partner with the hardware team to troubleshoot component, signal-integrity, and interface issues.</li><li>Own creation and maintenance of test firmware, automation scripts, and engineering validation tools.</li><li>Oversee configuration, execution, and debugging of hardware test benches, fixtures, and development platforms.</li><li>Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance in root-cause analysis for hardware–firmware interaction issues.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.</li><li>7+ years of experience developing embedded firmware in C/C++, Python, and Bash.</li><li>Expertise with Linux and RTOS-based systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of real-time behavior, system bring-up, and low-level hardware interfaces.</li><li>Proficiency with CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and related communication protocols.</li><li>Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, and hardware debugging tools.</li><li>Background in robotics, consumer electronics, or complex electromechanical systems</li></ul> Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills<ul style=""><li>Familiarity with system modeling, control fundamentals, or sensor integration is a plus.</li></ul>
