You will work closely with teams across the engineering group to deliver world-class vehicle dynamics-shaping functions from concept to production.  **A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a very capable team**   Role: <ul><li>Support in delivery of software and hardware related to braking, steering and suspension control systems from initial scope of work to SOP with excellence and great detail </li></ul><ul><li>Align with internal teams and suppliers on the delivery of chassis functions </li></ul><ul><li>Work with Vehicle Controls, Vehicle Electronics and Vehicle Dynamics teams to build, test and calibrate prototype controllers in virtual, HiL and vehicle environments </li></ul><ul><li>Create and execute system design validation plans including virtual, HiL and vehicle-based testing </li></ul><ul><li>Work with multiple complex projects in a demanding environment </li></ul><ul><li>Travel domestically and internationally as required </li></ul>  Qualifications: <ul><li>2+ years of experience in the automotive industry or related field </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics theory </li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on practical experience in vehicle testing and data analysis </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with software development (Matlab/Python/CAPL scripting, model based) </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to read and work with electrical schematics </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of automotive communication protocols </li></ul>  Advantageous: <ul><li>Experience with Design or Validation of Chassis Control Systems</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CDMStudio, etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Technical project management skills are a plus </li></ul><ul><li>Functional safety training or working knowledge </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent problem-solving ability, with an ability to use fundamental principles and data-driven action </li></ul><ul><li>Desire for continual learning </li></ul>  Education: <ul><li>BS/BEng or MS/MEng in a relevant Engineering/Physics/Mathematics discipline, or equivalent experience </li></ul> <div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
