This exciting opportunity within our <strong>Powertrain Advanced Manufacturing </strong>division will involve leading the design and tooling review of new high-volume battery manufacturing lines in conjunction with systems integrators. </p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Use 3D modeling and simulations</strong> to validate equipment and fixture designs.</li><li><strong>Participate in Design Review Ownership</strong>: Ownership of Equipment and Product stack up tolerance analysis.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functionally Collaborate </strong>with Product Design, Beta Team, Advanced Manufacturing, External vendors to drive manufacturing equipment and product tooling reviews</li><li><strong>Execute Complex Equipment Design</strong>: Design and validate designs for automated manufacturing equipment, create 3D CAD models, and lead tooling design reviews to ensure proper equipment functionality and stack up conditions.</li><li>Work under minimal guidance to identify project criticality and execute necessary tasks for equipment design.</li><li>Efficiently implement engineering solutions on manufacturing equipment based on product design changes.</li><li>Bring fundamental understanding of Machine Tool Building mechanical, electrical, controls to build automation equipment from design to buyoff.</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.</li><li><strong>A minimum of 5+ years of experience </strong>in high volume manufacturing equipment design.
