We are backed by strategic investment and product partners such as TDK Ventures and Eclipse Ventures.  We are a team of engineers, operators, entrepreneurs, and partners driven by a shared ambition to set the new performance standard for renewable energy and grid resilience. About the Role Peak Energy is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer (SIE) to drive the readiness, ramp, and ongoing performance of key manufacturing partners and component suppliers. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that critical suppliers can meet our technical, quality, and delivery requirements as we scale production of our next-generation energy storage systems. You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management teams to qualify new suppliers, develop scalable production processes, and troubleshoot issues in real time. This is a high-impact role at the center of building a reliable, world-class hardware supply chain. Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead scoping, development and qualification of new suppliers through quality management system assessments and audits </li></ul><ul><li>Partner with product design, manufacturing engineering and supplier teams to ensure DfX (Design for X) feedback is incorporated early into product and process designOwn supplier readiness milestones as part of NPI and production ramp plans </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with suppliers to develop and validate manufacturing processes, production lines, test procedures, and in-line quality controls </li></ul><ul><li>Drive first article inspections, process capability studies, and PPAP Documentation as needed for new components and manufacturing processes </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and drive root cause analysis of non-conformances and subsequent implementation of corrective and precentive actionsSupport capacity planning and yield improvements to ensure suppliers can meet cost, quality, and delivery targets </li></ul><ul><li>Travel to supplier sites as needed for audits, builds, and joint problem-solving (expected ~20–30%) </li></ul> Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or similar technical field) or demonstrated excellence in one of the above fields through industry experience. </li></ul><ul><li>4 – 8 years of experience in supplier industrialization, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or similar role </li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on experience ramping production of complex electromechanical products, preferably in energy, automotive, aerospace, or contract manufacturing environments </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (preferably CATIA) and Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing </li></ul><ul><li>Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal stamping and forming, die casting, injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, PCBA, wire harness assembly, electromechanical assembly, etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, Process FMEA, Control Plans, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis and other industrialization tools. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and project management skills; ability to align internal and external stakeholders </li></ul><ul><li>Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers to solve technical and operational issues </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring structure to fast-changing environments </li></ul><ul><li>Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and driving positive environmental impact through technology innovation.  </li></ul><ul><li>Eligible to work in the U.S. </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience working with international suppliers or contract manufacturers </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of  high voltage battery systems in the automotive, aerospace or renewable energy industry </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with PLM (e.g., 3D Experience), ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and quality documentation systems </li></ul><ul><li>Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification </li></ul>The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills.
