Responsibilities:<ul><li>Investigate quality issues via the Non-conformance Report (NCR) system</li><li>Act as NCR responsible party and Gatekeeper</li><li>Manage the monthly NCR review board</li><li>Work with the Continuous Improvement team on plant 5S goals</li><li>Assist with yearly ISO and internal quality system audits</li><li>Assist with bi-annual and quarterly regulatory audits, as required (UL, ITAR, etc.)</li><li>Engage other departments to improve quality through Kaizen and other activities</li></ul>Process Improvement:<ul><li>Identify areas for improvements and suggest solutions</li><li>Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on industry standards and best practices</li></ul>Documentation:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and organized records of data analysis and quality control processes</li><li>Document any finding or issues discovered during analysis of quality data</li><li>Create and update quality control charts and reports</li><li>Author and manage changes to quality management system documents</li></ul>Communication:<ul><li>Communicate with management recommendations to improve quality processes</li><li>Collaborate with cross functional team members to resolve discrepancies or quality issues</li><li>Provide monthly NCR summary reports and recommendations for improvement</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>B.A./B.S. in Engineering or Science field required</li><li>Quality engineering experience of at least 5-7 years in an ISO 9001 environment</li><li>Experience in a fast-paced, multi-project manufacturing environment</li><li>Electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) experience is required, ETQ preferred</li><li>Experience using basic inspection tools (e.g. calipers, tape measure, thickness gauges, etc.)</li><li>Analytical, process improvement and problem-solving skills (e.g. 5 whys, 8D, DMAIC, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>ERP system experience, SAP is preferred</li><li>Lean/Six Sigma experience, Green belt or above certification preferred</li><li>ASQ CQE Certification preferred</li><li>Certified regulatory auditor preferred (e.g., ASQ CQA or RAPS RAC) </li></ul>The estimated salary range for this position is $110k to $115k.  Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement. #LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
