They also handle negotiations with high-risk customers and manage relationships with credit reporting agencies. Responsibilities: Credit Management:<ul><li>Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.</li><li>Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers.</li><li>Approve or deny credit applications.</li><li>Monitor credit limits and terms for existing customers.</li><li>Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers.</li><li>Analyze credit data and provide recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Communicate credit decisions to relevant departments.</li></ul>Collections Management:<ul><li>Oversee collection activities and strategies.</li><li>Monitor and report on delinquent accounts.</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with collection agencies.</li><li>Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints.</li><li>Review and approve write offs and adjustments.</li><li>Develop and implement collection policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct regular training for collection staff.</li></ul>Reporting and Analysis:<ul><li>Prepare and present reports on credit and collections performance.</li><li>Monitor and analyze trends in credit and data collections.</li><li>Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.</li><li>Forecast cash flow and provide recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to improve credit and collections processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.</li></ul>Relationship Management:<ul><li>Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit and collections issues.</li><li>Communicate with external parties, such as banks and credit bureaus.</li><li>Attend industry events and network with other credit and collections professionals.</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional image for the company.</li></ul>Team Management:<ul><li>Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.</li><li>Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.</li><li>Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.</li><li>Develop and implemenbachelor’s degree in financeteam members updated on trends and strategies.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;</li><li>At least 7 years’ experience as credit &amp; collection specialist;</li><li>Experience as a people manager would be preferred;</li><li>Planning and Scheduling: Proficiently create project plans, define milestones, and establish timelines. Ensure that tasks are well organized and aligned with strategic objectives.</li><li>Budgeting: Skillfully manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor expenses. Make informed decisions to optimize financial outcomes.</li><li>Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adaptation as needed.</li><li>End to End Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion.
