You will provide support to technical and office staff while working with management to maintain the facilities. You will also be the contact for external contractors, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC., and will be the main contact for the building owner.You will work onsite at our Devens, MA office reporting into the Director of Facilities Engineering. You will share the on-call rotation for Facility employees with the occasional evening, weekend or holiday hours.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure manufacturing equipment installation requirements such as: MEP, HVAC, and lighting controls are present before installation</li><li>Manage preventive maintenance for buildings, labs, and equipment</li><li>Establish new lab, shop, and test capabilities such as: power, water, and gas handling services</li><li>Perform root cause evaluation for underperforming critical systems and failed critical components and t track and prioritize resolutions</li><li>Work with project teams to ensure newly installed assets are captured in the Component Content Management System (CMMS)</li><li>Coordinate with multiple vendors and negotiate services and products on time and on budget</li><li>Perform CMMS planned and unplanned work order management</li><li>Participate as a member of the Safety Committee while supporting the ongoing development of our environmental health and safety efforts</li><li>Procure materials specific to the job</li><li>Support shipping and receiving where needed</li><li>Manage a team of facilities technicians ensuring facilities tickets are processed promptly</li><li>Develop relationship with building owner's representatives and the local AHJs, serving as the contact with these critical partners</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>6+ years' experience in facilities maintenance</li><li>3+ years' experience managing teams</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety standards and Industry Codes such as: CAL-OSHA, EPA, DEP, ADA, and. other environmental regulations</li><li>Knowledge of building systems such as: MEP, HVAC, lighting, controls, and codes</li><li>Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements and safety precautions related to facilities management</li><li>Read and explain technical and architectural drawings and specification</li><li>Experience managing, improving, and using a CMMS</li><li>Forklift License/Certification</li></ul>#LI-OnsiteCompensation and Benefits l M3<div><div><div>Natick Zone</div><div>$123,000—$155,000 USD</div></div></div><div>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
