Become part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform the automotive and mobility industry.</p><p>Job Description:</p><p>This position performs the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management and record-keeping for incoming and outgoing shipments of company products and vendor parts necessary to manufacturing of products; stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensures accuracy and timeliness of all job functions; verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.</p><p>You Will:</p><ul><li>Determines method of shipment and prepares bills, invoices and other shipping documents.</li><li>Receive material - check and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary.</li><li>Inspect and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods.</li><li>Accept or returns material according to established company procedures. Prints and affixes proper labels.</li><li>Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise. Make necessary verifications against documents.</li><li>May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.</li><li>Maintain internal record-keeping systems.</li><li>Contact transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return material that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.</li><li>Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions.</li><li>Take inventory, maintain storage area, organize and place stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times.</li><li>Keeping up date inventories and invoices in the system.</li><li>Assist Supervisor as needed.</li><li>Locate material according to layout.</li><li>Communicates pertinent information per shift.</li><li>Examine shipment contents and compare with invoices to verify accuracy.</li><li>Record discrepancies in order to make a failure warning if it is necessary.</li><li>Shipping schedules follow up/attainment Generates and provides proper paperwork for transportation.</li></ul><p>You Bring:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>2-3 years related experience in shipping activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment</li><li>Supervisory experience would be an asset</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)</li><li>Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office</li><li>Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail</li><li>Strong analytical ability</li></ul><p>Essential Physical Requirements:</p><ul><li> <strong>Standing and Walking:  </strong>Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment.</li><li> M<strong>anual Dexterity: </strong>Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery.
