<div>  </div>Job Overview: As a Sustaining Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for making continuous improvements to our automated production equipment for the manufacturing of electrical systems for electric vehicles. This will involve rapid, efficient responses to real-time issues, and then driving permanent resolutions and improvements in collaboration with our maintenance and operations staff, as well as driving continuous improvement of our preventative maintenance programs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.<ul><li>Systematically apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software components to identify and solve problems</li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all production equipment</li><li>Work closely with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers and Operators to meet equipment requirements and make improvements to existing systems</li><li>Work hands-on with roll-to-roll web handling and processing equipment, including rollers, drives, edge guides, brakes, and steering mechanisms.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
