You will analyze workflows, balance production lines, and refine floor layouts to ensure safe, ergonomic, and cost-effective operations. This role provides the opportunity to apply lean tools, identify automation opportunities, and contribute directly to ongoing factory expansion. This is an onsite role.We are unable to sponsor H-1B, F-1 OPT, and STEM OPT extension at this time.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and update floor layouts, process flows, and workstation designs to improve efficiency, capacity, and scalability.</li><li>Conduct time studies, line balancing, and spaghetti diagram analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Assess ergonomic risks and recommend solutions to improve operator safety and comfort.</li><li>Support the implementation of lean tools, automation, and poka-yoke methods to improve quality and reduce waste.</li><li>Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams on capacity increase projects and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Document findings, create clear visual aids, and present recommendations to stakeholders.</li></ul>Core Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, line balancing, and process flow analysis.</li><li>Hands-on experience with time studies, spaghetti diagrams, and ergonomic assessments.</li><li>Proficiency with Excel and CAD or layout software for process documentation and planning.</li></ul>Desired Skills / Experience<ul><li>Exposure to automation or poka-yoke implementation.</li><li>Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.</li><li>Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, and related best practice documentation tools.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li></ul>Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
