Moreover, you like to travel worldwide for fact-finding, backstopping and short-term missions? We are currently searching for a Consultant/Project Manager (m/f/d) with a relevant background and experience in transport (e.g. road infrastructure, public transport) to start as soon as possible. Your tasks in brief   <ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li>Tracking of projects/early intelligence, research of background information;</li><li>Contact to/networking with donors, clients, partners and experts;</li><li>Management and coordination of the acquisition process, including preparation of Expressions of Interest (EoI) and technical proposals, staff recruitment and fee negotiations, identification of consortium partners, support to the preparation of financial proposals; and</li><li>Organisation and lead of fact-finding missions to the recipient countries.</li></ul>Project implementation<ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li>Management of projects from a technical and financial point of view;</li><li>Coordination and supervision of transport infrastructure projects;</li><li>Review and preparation of reports;</li><li>Technical, administrative and logistical support for the project team on site; and</li><li>Donor, client, partner and expert management.</li></ul>Consulting assignments<ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li>Missions abroad (short- and medium-term) in international transport infrastructure projects.</li></ul> A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US <ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li>Academic degree (Master), in a relevant field such as transport (infrastructure) planning, civil engineering;</li><li>Not less than 2 years of experience in the transport sector, ideally in the consulting business as project manager for corresponding projects;</li><li>Proven experience in the acquisition and management of transport projects;</li><li>Knowledge of donor procedures and requirements, e.g. World Bank, AfDB, KfW, EIB, is a plus;</li><li>Generalist experience in several transport subsectors, e.g. highways, national, urban and/or rural roads, urban transport, public transport, rail, and;</li><li>Business fluent language skills in French and English (only bilingual candidates, who are able to work in both languages will be considered);</li><li>Strong writing, communication, networking and team-working skills;</li><li>Work experience abroad in target countries for development cooperation and with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa.</li></ul> AN ENVIRONMENT THAT MOTIVATES YOU <ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li>Work with a motivated team in an international work environment;</li><li>Short communication and decision making processes and a living “open doors” culture across all company levels;</li><li>An attractive salary package and bonus system;</li><li>Continuous training and skill development;</li></ul> READY FOR CHANGE?
