We are looking for passionate people that want to be part of our journey and embrace the behaviors that we at Aliaxis stand for:<ul><li>We Dare to challenge the status quo, to innovate and to learn fast,</li><li>We Care for the environment, our customers and each other,</li><li>We Deliver by taking accountability for our decisions and actions.</li></ul>Aliaxis is privately owned, with its global headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.Job Purpose:The IPD Engineer will participate in the design and development of new products and in conducting laboratory tests. Responsibilities: · Participate in the development of new products under the supervision of the engineering team; · Analyze Design Failure Modes and Effects (DFMEA); · 3D CAD product design; · 2D construction drawings using ISO standards for dimensioning and tolerances; · Perform Finite Element Analysis simulations to support mechanical design and optimize heat transfer; · Prototype construction; · Perform laboratory tests; · Collaborate with external entities and suppliers to support the development of new products. · Preparation of technical documentation. Requirements: · Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; · Professional experience of 2 years or more; · Knowledge of heat transfer; · Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis; · Knowledge of mechanical design (2D and 3D); · Organizational skills; able to work independently; ability to handle multiple projects under the supervision of project and R&amp;D managers. · Knowledge of English (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is an advantage; Conditions: · Integration into a young company that is part of a solid group facing perhaps the most important moment in its growth; · Informal work environment where initiative and proactivity are recognized qualities; Type of offer: Full-time Required academic background: · Higher education in engineering.
