We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.The Maintenance Technician works both independently and as part of a team to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks on facility equipment and infrastructure.Core Responsibilities and Tasks<ul><li>Collects and assists with documenting repair details.</li><li>Prepares and sets up equipment for production following repairs; assists and instructs others as needed.</li><li>Communicates clearly with outside vendors.</li><li>Utilizes instruction manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics to perform tasks.</li><li>Troubleshoots and determines appropriate actions for facility support equipment repair; engages external contractors when necessary.</li><li>Provides technical support to ensure equipment is always ready for operation.</li><li>Performs preventive maintenance and system calibration to maintain safety and maximize equipment uptime.</li><li>Maintains plant equipment using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, measuring/testing instruments, specialty tools, and equipment as required.</li><li>Actively participates and contributes to a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Documents all corrective and preventive maintenance activities in the company’s computer system.</li><li>Maintains a clean and safe work area and adheres to 5S standards.</li><li>Ensures safe passage into parking lots and buildings through snow/ice removal and application of de-icing products (site specific).</li><li>Contributes to division goals and overall performance.</li><li>Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers by addressing their needs and expectations.</li></ul>Position Requirements<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>2–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or related training.</li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated ability in maintenance practices and methods for mechanical and electrical equipment repair.</li><li>Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team and with outside vendors.</li><li>Ability to interpret and work from equipment manuals, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).</li><li>Comprehension of written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Valid certifications and ability to operate mobile equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and other related machinery.</li><li>Proficiency in computer use for documentation and maintenance records.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li></ul>The estimated pay range for this position is $28-36. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
