RISI specializes in developing EBW and EFI detonators that integrate into Electronic Safe &amp; Arms.Well established supplier of interconnect systems and High Voltage components for the aerospace industry in the Tracy, CA is seeking a Manufacturing (Mechanical) Technician.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to read and follow engineering notes, sketches, and drawings.</li><li>Experience with mechanical diagnostic equipment, maintaining area controls, assisting with mechanical diagnostic calibration and alignment, testing prior to experiment execution, and performing data recovery after experiment execution</li><li>Provide operations, maintenance, design, fabrication, assembly support, and maintain systems documentation and experimental records.</li><li>Manage the tool identification, configuration control, storage and scheduled maintenance</li><li>Experience in general machining processes with the ability to operate hand/power tools.</li><li>Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble moderately complex mechanical components and systems, using work control process and procedure requirements while working under general supervision.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Associate degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from community college or trade-technical school</li><li>1-4 years related experience working with machines, presses, and power tools.</li><li>Excellent analytical and reasoning skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills both written and oral</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs in a safe and controlled manner.</li><li>MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint</li><li>AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or SolidWorks preferred</li></ul>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne RISI requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Please note the salary range posted is a general guideline for this job level and location.
