This role will ensure compliance with ASC 606, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, IT, General Accounting, and FP&amp;A, and drive operational efficiency in our revenue processes.The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of revenue accounting, proven SaaS/tech industry experience and hardware experience. This person will be hands-on with revenue operations, including operating ARM in NetSuite, and SSP analysis, while also supporting process improvements and system automation to enable growth and scalability.What You Will Bring to ChargePoint<ul><li>Manage global revenue operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support in compliance with ASC 606.</li><li>Prepare revenue-related schedules, manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly flux analyses, ie, Standalone Selling Price analysis, hardware reclassifications in ARM, monthly flux comments for hardware and subscription.</li><li>Prepare and assist with revenue disclosures and support SEC reporting requirements (10-Q/K).</li><li>Review and interpret complex customer agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition treatment.</li><li>Partner with Sales, Legal, and FP&amp;A on deal structuring and reporting accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and system administrators to support automation of revenue processes using NetSuite ARM or other tools.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop revenue accountants, providing guidance on technical issues and career growth.</li><li>Support integration efforts for acquisitions and new product launches with revenue impact.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.</li><li>5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and in-house revenue roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP; SaaS or technology industry experience highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze and apply accounting guidance to revenue arrangements.</li><li>Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.</li><li>Strong skillsets on excel and power query</li><li>Prior exposure to ERP systems and revenue automation tools (NetSuite ARM strongly preferred).</li><li>Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Effective communicator and collaborator across functions and levels of the business.</li><li>Experience managing and developing accounting staff preferred.</li></ul>LocationGurgaon, India<div>We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
