Your mission Position, Location, Department  Full-time | France | Sales    Position Summary  The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic customers, including EPCs, developers, and IPPs, to drive long-term business growth. This role combines commercial expertise, deep market knowledge, and cross-functional coordination to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize account revenue, and strengthen JA Solar’s position as a trusted partner.    Reporting Line  Reports to the Country Sales Manager France.    Major Responsibilities  <ul><li>Account Ownership: Maintain full ownership of assigned strategic accounts, including relationship management, long-term account planning, and revenue growth.</li><li>Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, building trust with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment with customer objectives.</li><li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions, manage contract execution, and resolve complex issues.</li><li>Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies to grow share of wallet, increase customer satisfaction, and secure repeat business.</li><li>Market &amp; Competitive Insights: Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to support sales and marketing strategies.</li><li>Forecasting &amp; Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track account performance, and report progress to management.</li><li>Event &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: Lead customer events, site visits, and executive meetings to strengthen strategic partnerships.</li><li>Innovation &amp; Solutions: Identifyand propose innovative solutions to meet customer needs and drive long-term collaboration.</li></ul>Performance Indicators  <ul><li>Revenue and margin growth within assigned key accounts</li><li>Retention and satisfaction of strategic customers</li><li>Accuracy of account forecasts and pipeline management</li><li>Success of cross-functional project delivery</li><li>Stakeholder feedback (internal and external)</li></ul> Your profile Required Qualifications  <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field</li><li>Previous experience working for Chinese PV manufacturer is an advantage</li><li>3–7 years’ experience in utility-scale PV/ESS sales or account management</li><li>Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing complex projects</li><li>Deep knowledge of PV policies, market standards, and customer expectations in Central Europe</li><li>English &amp; French: C1 - C2 (professional working proficiency - near native proficiency)</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies  <ul><li>Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Strategic thinking and business acumen</li><li>Negotiation and problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Cross-functional collaboration and project coordination</li><li>Analytical mindset with a data-informed approach</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li></ul>Travel Requirement  <ul><li>Frequent travel within France</li><li>occasional travel across Europe as needed</li></ul>
