We need engineers who share this passion for sustainability and thrive in designing energy efficient buildings and communities. Our Building Services team are a source of world leading expertise and offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence.  At Cundall we strive to maintain a healthy balance between work and life.  Explore exciting career opportunities with us.<h2>The Role</h2><ul> <li>Providing BIM Modeling and CAD drafting for BIM based Design authoring.</li> <li>Assist on managing and coordinating the overall use of BIM within the Discipline team and support the multidisciplinary projects delivery.</li> <li>Coordination and management of BIM Models within the respective discipline and across disciplines.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans.</li> <li>Use checklists set-up for quality control on each deliverable and Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of BIM models and related documentation.</li> <li>Ability to assemble composite design models for coordination meetings.</li> <li>Ability to work on Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.</li> <li>Identify conflicts with Architectural, Structural, and other MEP design elements and present well thought-out and cost-effective solutions.</li> <li>Ability to coordinate, manage, and solve BIM Issues online (BIM360, BIM Track, etc.) or with Navisworks.</li> <li>Identify and detect any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.</li> <li>Hands-on capabilities on Setting up Project Files, Creation of Templates, High Level BIM Families and content management, Shared Parameters, Scheduling, Schematic (CAD), Coordinates acquisition, etc.</li> <li>Assisting the BIM Coordinator/Lead in their tasks (where required).</li> <li>Creation of BIM/CAD deliverables, Clash Detection Reports, Construction Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D), Asset Management BIM Implementation (COBie), e-Specs implementation.</li> <li>Support interoperability of BIM authoring and coordination tools with the Engineering Discipline Design Analysis tools.</li> <li>Support Automation process and highlight aspects and areas of productivity and quality optimization.</li> <li>Demonstrating a proactive approach to learning new digital design tools.</li></ul><h2>The Skills</h2>Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering field, with experience and background in modelling with knowledge of best practices in BIM. In addition, you will need:<ul> <li>Minimum of 4 years broad experience in design, drafting and BIM Modelling.</li> <li>Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Revit BIM authoring tool.</li> <li>Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage.</li> <li>Mandatory proficiency on BIM360 Environment.</li> <li>Proficiency on MagiCAD and Dynamo scripting tools would be of advantage.</li> <li>Preferred candidates should demonstrate Proficiency on Model Review solutions and good command/knowledge of HVAC, Ventilation, Chilled Water design analysis tools</li></ul> Proficiency on any of the following would be considered as an added value:<ul> <li>Dynamo scripting tool</li> <li>COBie Implementation and delivery</li> <li>LOD 300 to 350 implementation and delivery</li> <li>Excellent English communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.</li> <li>High Sense of Quality driven deliverables.</li> <li>Knowledge working with ISO19650 standards will be an added advantage.</li></ul>Job Description Your career at Cundall We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
